The Embassy is currently split between two locations in Tripoli.

The Embassy’s Commercial, Visa, Consular and Management Sections are located on the 24th Floor of the Burj Al Fateh building in central Tripoli. The Political/Economic, Press and Public Affairs Section are co-located with the Ambassador’s Residence off Sharia al Shatt, parallel to the Corniche road between the Mehari Hotel and the Secretariat for Foreign Affairs.

Consular Section

Open to the public 0900-1200 Sunday to Thursday for passport, visa and notarial applications, and from 1330-1400 for the collection of passports and notarial documents only. British citizens requiring consular assistance can call us 0800-1500 Sunday to Thursday. Those seeking emergency consular assistance outside these hours should telephone the Embassy Duty Officer on 091-220-2687.
