The cost of a standard (32 page) Biometric passport is £119 (payable in the equivalent local currency).

The cost of a jumbo/frequent traveller (48 page) Biometric passport is £144 (payable in the equivalent local currency).

The cost of a child (under 16) Biometric passport is £76 (payable in the equivalent local currency).

The cost of a (12 page) Temporary passport is £70.50 (payable in the equivalent local currency). This is only available at a limited number of Consulates.

The cost of an Emergency passport (1 page document valid for a single journey to the UK) is £55.50 (payable in the equivalent local currency). Please note that in those exceptional cases where we agree to issue an Emergency Passport out of normal office hours, an additional call out fee of £121 per hour is payable.

Gratis Passports for Veterans - If you are a British passport holder and were born on or before 2 September 1929, you are eligible for a free passport. Passports issued under this scheme are only processed in the UK at the Liverpool Passport Office. IPS application forms should be used - see the Identity and Passport Service website. The processing time is around 6 weeks, but timing cannot be guaranteed.
